When you arrive at Riverwalk Ranch, an Intake Coordinator will be awaiting your arrival to greet you. Then, a caring nursing staff will take your vitals and ask your medical history. The nurse will also collect a urine sample to determine which drugs are in your system to determine your detox and treatment needs.
Our Intake Coordinator will complete the necessary admission forms with you. Afterwards, our Recovery Coach staff will take inventory of the items you have brought with you to ensure they comply with our guidelines and determine if it is necessary to keep any valuables in the safe.
Once the Intake process is completed, the Intake Coordinator will help you get comfortably situated in your assigned bedroom.
Yes, when you arrive at Riverwalk Ranch you will receive a psychiatric evaluation in the first 24 hours to ensure any mental health issues are identified and addressed. Our treatment success consists of focusing on the whole person, not just their addiction.
The length of stay will depend on each person’s individual treatment plan. The treatment plans reflect the client’s needs, goals, and medical recommendations. We assign an individualized treatment plan that is a minimum of 45 days. Most clients stay at Riverwalk Ranch for 60 to 90 days. Keep in mind that longer treatment durations tend to result in better outcomes.
Yes, we offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT). The medications available at Riverwalk Ranch for medication-assisted treatment include Suboxone, Vivitrol, Sublicaid, and buprenorphine.
Yes, you can rest assured that Riverwalk Ranch staff will protect your privacy. Every staff member receives HIPAA compliance training during employee orientation. At Riverwalk Ranch we comply with all HIPAA and privacy laws and regulations.

Yes, you may bring your cell phone and computer; however, there are some restrictions on when you are permitted to use them.
We recommend that you bring comfortable clothes and shoes. Pack accordingly if you might want to spend time outdoors or swim in the pool. Since we offer free laundry services, there's no need to over-pack. Bring a few good books to curl up with and some sunscreen!
It is important to note that the time you spend in residential treatment is completely focused on your recovery, which will consist of time spent in the facility focusing on your treatment. However, there may be Group outings once you step down to a lower level of care and with medical clearance.
Yes, we have the privilege of working with a team of physicians and psychiatrists who are experts in addiction. Our medical team is available 24/7 via concierge services. Nonetheless, clients meet regularly with their doctors as needed.
Yes! Every bedroom and living room at Riverwalk Ranch is equipped with a flat-screen television and streaming Channels (e.x. Netflix).
The house is staffed with two professional chefs that cook at our local off site kitchen. The meals are then prepared in our facility kitchen and served in the dining room. You will have three meals a day along with snacks. If you have specific dietary concerns, we are able to accommodate.
No, residents do not have assigned chores at Riverwalk Ranch! We do ask our residents to keep their assigned bedrooms organized so that our housekeeping staff can properly sanitize and clean rooms daily. Our Housekeeping staff is happy to take care of you during your stay.
