Dallas Texas Inpatient Rehab
Once the medical detox process is complete and the person suffering from addiction becomes physically sober it is recommended that they enter into a residential, or inpatient, rehabilitation program. This is the highest level of care that an alcoholic or addict can receive. While every patient is different, each treatment plan shares certain methods.
At the outset of the admission process, the patient is thoroughly evaluated and an individualized treatment plan is created. Residents are typically recommended a course of treatment that is 30, 60 or 90 days in length. The patient will step down levels of care after the initial 30 days of inpatient rehab. During this 30-day period Riverwalk will provide:
- 24 hour/day monitoring by addiction treatment specialist
- Medication management
- Addiction education
- Individual therapy
- Group therapy
- A set of treatment goals
Participants in inpatient rehab programs have the highest success rate of long-term recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. The highly structured residential setting allows patients to reassess their past behavioral patterns free from outside influences. Family members of residents are able to breathe freely, knowing that their loved ones have the structure and support of trained professions to help them stay safe and sober.
Visitors at Riverwalk Ranch are greeted by a warm, welcoming staff in a large residential facility. Clients undergoing onsite treatment are required to live in our comfortable Dallas Texas inpatient rehab facility. Residential treatment is appropriate for clients who need the support of both medical and clinical services.
At our Dallas Texas inpatient rehab, clients have a full daily schedule that includes therapy, activities, meetings, healthy meals, and rest periods. The structure and stability of this routine helps to restore the mind and body to a healthy state. We are proud to provide a safe, peaceful atmosphere that is conducive to recovery. Residents here get to practice skills that will help them remain healthy and sober for the rest of their lives.
To provide the most effective and thorough treatment for long-term recovery, Riverwalk divides clients into smaller, comprehensive groups, allowing for focused attention and tailored treatment based on the individual needs of each client. Placement is based on age, substance abuse history, and other factors that may affect the recovery process, such as co-occurring mental health issues.
Our drug and alcohol residential treatment programs focus on individualized client care. Riverwalk Ranch clients will participate in various types of group, individual, and recreational therapies. This includes participating in social events, activities, therapies, and various other treatments throughout the day, designed to help clients overcome their addictions. Our clinical staff designs individual treatment plans for the specific needs of each client.
Another benefit of an inpatient rehab program is that it allows patients a chance to take a step away from the people, places and things that contribute to their addictive behavior. Within the residential environment, our patients are provided three healthy meals a day, they are able to get a full, eight hours of sleep and they are free from the everyday stresses that can lead to the desire to self-medicate.
Once our patients acclimate to this setting they will not only enjoy the support of our staff but their fellow patients as well. There is a direct correlation between therapeutic communities and an addict's ability to stay sober. The kinship shared by patients living together in a residential facility gives them the accountability and community necessary to stay sober after they leave treatment.
When you arrive at Riverwalk Ranch you’ll undergo a comprehensive medical and psychological evaluation that looks at your substance abuse history, co-occurring mental health disorders, and ongoing medical issues. This initial assessment ensures that you receive a customized care that will effectively address your needs. In our treatment program, you’ll work with a primary therapist and multidisciplinary team to collaborate on your individualized treatment plan, focusing on your interpersonal strengths, rehabilitation needs, assessments, and preferences. Your customized treatment schedule is revisited throughout the program stay to look at your treatment progression and to make sure your level of care is still clinically appropriate.
